NICCO AEED (Gary Dust) is a writer and director. He is half of “Marina & Nicco,” a sketch duo which has been featured on Comedy Central and Funny or Die, as well as at the PIT, The Treehouse Theater, and UCB. Nicco is also a writer for the UCBT’s “The Livia Scott Sketch Program” and he co-wrote the feature film “Delusions of Guinevere.”
BROOKS ALLISON (Axe) is an actor/improviser in New York City. He has been taking improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 2013. He is part of the indie improv team Extra Chowder. He is the creator of Sam Dunker’s Music Podcast on YouTube. He is also co-creator of Basketball Clinic with Forever Dog’s own Alex Ramsey. AMY BERGER (Mary Rowlandson) is a New York based actor, writer, and improviser with a Chicago based soul. After leaving the midwest, Amy graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, receiving her drama training from the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and Stonestreet Studios. During her time at NYU, she had the pleasure of becoming a member of the Improbable Stage Company, toured Greece as Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with One Year Lease Theatre Company, and worked as an apprentice at Williamstown Theatre Festival. She began studying improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade in 2013 and can pretty much always be found there. HELEN BEYENE (Kim Jordache) is an Ethiopian-American actress based in New York City by way of Philadelphia, PA. You can find her in Kate Ballen and Mathew Newtons independent film “No One Asked Me” to be released next year. She has appeared on MTV for the Look Different PSA Campaign, and is currently starring in a short film, Ori-Inu: In Search of Self. ANDREW BLOCK (Dick Disney) is a New York based actor and comedian who trained at The University of the Arts (PA) and the Maggie Flannigan Studio. Andrew performs regularly in Forever Dog’s shows at The PIT and he recently appeared in the indie feature film ‘The First of Our Friends to Get Married’ (From The Heart Productions).
NICK CARRILLO (Butch Casino) is an actor / writer / comedian living in BK, born and raised in TX . He holds a BFA in acting from the College of Santa Fe . He then moved to New York were he studied acting at the Lee Strasburg Institute for Film and TV, and sketch/improv at UCB and the PIT. Nick is a performer and writer for the sketch group Uncanny Valley. He also performs improv with indie-teams G.U.S , NickArrett , and PIT house team Gypsy Danger every Wednesday.
JOE CILIO (Randy Casino) is the co-Founder and Artistic Director of Forever Dog Productions. Joe has performed at the PIT, the UCB Theater, the Treehouse Theater, the NY Sketch Festival, the Chicago Fringe Festival, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, and more. Joe has created over 15 original shows at the PIT, including “Volcano Town.” Joe graduated with a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University.
JUSTIN CIMINO (Lionel Custard) played Samuel “Screech” Powers for a year and a half in “Bayside! The Musical!” Off-Broadway, where for 2 months he shared a tiny dressing room with Dustin Diamond. He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he trained in the Meisner technique and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He is a proud volunteer with Zara Aina, an organization that brings theatre to Madagascar’s at-risk youth. Recently he was hired by UNICEF to use Zara Aina’s clown-based work to mobilize communities in Madagascar to fight polio.
CATHERINE COHEN (Roscoe) is an actor/singer/writer living in NYC. She currently performs with the Maude team Lover at UCB. She can also be seen performing sketches with Boy Girl Boy Girl Comedy and stand-up with herself. SAM CORBIN (Brenna Finger) is a writer and performer living in Brooklyn. Previous credits: Bull’s Hollow (Ars Nova), You on the Moors Now (HERE Arts Center), Too Many Lenas (The New Ohio) and Jack the Bird (Theater for the New City). ALLISON FRASCA (Kim Jordache) is an actress and writer from Long Island, New York. A graduate from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she currently lives and works in New York City. She is a member of a sketch comedy group called Fun Night In, she’s really bad at writing about herself, and she lives everyday for her cat, Kitty.
MATT GEHRING (French Custard) is a performer and writer in New York City. Originally hailing from the Midwest, Matt grew up in Ohio and moved to the city to complete a BFA at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he studied at the Experimental Theater Wing. Matt performs at the UCB and other comedy theaters in the city.
ARIEL GITLIN (Jodi) is an actress and comedian living in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Drew University with a degree in Theatre Arts and is in the Advanced Study programs for both Sketch Writing and Improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade. ALI GORDON (Brill LaFleur) is an actress, writer, improviser, and sketch comic from NYC. Ali has been in a whole bunch of plays and musicals, usually playing a young Jewish woman or small child. She releases sketch comedy as part of the duo “Far From Famous” and co-wrote “The Party’s Over” with Alli Brown, which enjoyed two separate sold-out runs at Manhattan Repertory Theatre. TONY GRAYSON (Glenn Hardaway) grew up just outside Chicago playing bass guitar in bands that played music he did not like. At sixteen, he took his first class at Second City and didn’t look back – instead spending his free time performing stand-up comedy in the city. HALLIE HAAS (Mayor Pearl Braddock) is a New York-based actor, improviser and writer. She currently writes and performs original characters at the Upright Citizens Brigade with Characters Welcome and improvises around the city with her indie team Hurly Burly. She appears in the SXSW Grand Jury Prize-winning feature film Fort Tilden (to be released August 2015) and has performed theater throughout New York and regionally. NATALIE HERZIG (Gwenivieve) is a New York-based model and actress who studied at NYU. When she isn’t working at one of her 13 jobs in a feeble attempt to chip away at her student loans, you can find her beat-boxing, climbing tall mountains, creating original recipes at a world-renowned restaurant, being Taylor Swift’s stunt double, or lying and making up facts about herself. In all seriousness, she feels grateful to have been a part of the cast of this amazing project!
SARAH HEVERON-SMITH (Jenna Finger) is a comedian in New York City. She performs on Lloyd Night at the UCB Theatre with her team This Old House and around town as feminist talk show host Susan B. Freewoman in “The Late Period with Susan B. Freewoman” (Forever Dog Productions). Sarah is a graduate of Wellesley College waiting for the day when she can have the best of Lake Waban and New York City in one place.
ALLISON HOUSER (Jamie Keesling), a recent graduate from the Meisner Studio at NYU Tisch, is an actor, writer and producer. She is so flippin thrilled to get to laugh her butt off with the cast of Volcano Town. JENNY JAFFE (Spoom Custard) is a New York-based writer, comedian, and performer whose credits include writing for MTV, CollegeHumor, VH1, Vulture, The Washington Post, The Devastator, xoJane, Bustle, and more. She can be seen in the upcoming films SLC Punk 2: Punk’s Dead and Jack of the Red Hearts. JESSIE JOLLES (Donna) is a writer/comedian living in New York City. She is a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on the improv house team Witch and Lisa From School. She is an improv coach and sketch director and teaches improv at Thunderbolt Comedy. She was a warm-up page for The Late Show with David Letterman, a production assistant for Billy on the Street, and worked in development for MTV. Jolles writes and performs with soren & jolles, a comedic duo of best friends. Their web series DIBS has been featured on Indiewire, Huffington Post, and Crushable.
RACHEL JORAVSKY (Brill LaFleur) is a comedian, writer, and director living in Brooklyn, USA. She’s founder and head writer at Damn Lady Laugh, a sketch comedy production company that puts out videos and shorts monthly. You can see her perform monthly at the PIT in her sketch show Peas in a Pod — one of NYC’s premiere character sketch shows. Rachel is a story pirate, and performs in elementary schools around the east coast. She is also a proud alumni of Hammerkatz NYU.
JULIA KENNELLY (David Edgerton) is a New York-based actress, writer, and director. After starting her first theater company at the age of ten with her best friend (a Mamet-heavy summer season in the Off-Off-Off Broadway sphere of her backyard), Julia went on to graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (BFA, Drama). Having co-created an original web series and online sketch comedy during college, she co-directed and produced her first feature film, “The First of Our Friends to Get Married”, this year – now in post-production. She is continuing her studies as a performer at UCB’s Improv Training Center.
ERIK KOCHENBERGER (Philanthrojock) graduated from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts in May 2014 with honors after completing three years int he Department of Drama’s Meisner Studio and one year in the Classical Studio. Since graduating he has participated in several off-Broadway productions including Jeremy and… (The Wild Project), Wisdom (Davenport Theatre), and The Scary Secrets of Stasis, PA (Treehouse Theatre). Last summer, he completed his first feature film, The First of our Friends to Get Married. He has also taken up improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre and is currently in a production of Othello with the Madcap Repertory theatre troupe.

EMILY MATHWICH (Lee Dust) is an actor/singer/improvisor/writer living in NYC. She performs weekly at the PIT with her house team OK President and can often be seen as Shelby in Unauthorized! The Musical’s Steel Petunias (a Steel Magnolias musical parody). She is a co-creater/writer/performer for a monthly sketch show entitled Sit Down Meals at McDonalds with Emily and Taylor. She is proud to be a part of the Volcano Town cast!
GILI NIR (Connie Hubert) acts, writes, and makes theater happen in the New York City area. She’s a graduate of Tisch’s Experimental Theatre Wing. She’s most recently performed in The Great Big Xmas Show at The Wild Project and associate produced what’s this called, this spirit? at Ars Nova’s ANT Fest. TAYLOR ORTEGA (Claire) is a writer, improviser, and comedian based in New York City. She is a University of the Arts dropout and a Montclair State graduate who writes full time at Elite Daily (mostly about celebrities, but occasionally about normals). You can find her improvising on Monday nights at the PIT with OK President, OR singing as Annelle in various runs of Steel Petunias: An Unauthorized! Musical Parody, OR eating french fries in a monthly sketch show called Sit Down Meals At McDonalds With Taylor And Emily (which she writes with Emily Mathwich). Anyone too lazy to leave the house can watch Taylor weekly on PIT TV’s Who Won The Internet, or dig deep for old episodes of the Cosmopolitan series, The Cosmo Catch Up (which she hosted and co-wrote).
KIM PARKER (Rhonda) is an actor and producer for BoogieManja, a New York sketch collective that performs to sold out audiences each month at the PIT Loft. She is a UCB-trained improviser and sketch writer, and former member of UCB TourCo. She is also an actor for Story Pirates, a children’s media organization which performs stories written by children for children. Kim directs Student Sketch Shows, giving students the tools to work effectively in a writers’ room and put up fully-produced shows. RACHEL PEGRAM (God) is an actress, singer, and comedian living in New York. She is also a recent recipient of a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU she performed in many plays and musicals like Ragtime and Little Women. She also really liked writing and performing sketch comedy on Hammerkatz. Rachel can now be seen performing improv with her group HOWL on a monthly basis at the Drama Book Shop and doing stand up across town when she’s not playing God.
ALEX RAMSEY (Vince Fargunkel) is the co-Founder and Artistic Director of Forever Dog Productions. Under the Forever Dog banner, he has written/performed in seven original shows at The PIT, co-directed all three productions of the original play ‘Dream Date’ (NYC, Chicago, and Philadelphia), and co-created “Volcano Town.” Alex has also performed at the NY Sketch Fest and the Chicago Sketch Fest as one half of experimental sketch comedy group, “Cilio & Ramsey.”

MATT ROGERS (Luxifer) is a comedian, actor, director and writer based in Brooklyn. He graduated from NYU, where he studied at Tisch and got started in comedy with HammerkatzNYU. JOHANNA SARRIOT (Margret) is a published writer, director, and performer based out of New York. She currently writes and performs characters at the Treehouse Theatre’s Super Buffet and improvises with her team, Hurly Burly. Jo hails from France, by way of West Africa, and sometimes she misses out on cultural references. She writes for BuzzFeed by day and makes comedy by night, just like a proper superhero.
DANA SHULMAN (Sangria Disney) is an actor and improviser who can usually be found at The Peoples Improv Theater. She is a founding member of Student Driver, headlining team of Indie Road, The PIT’s longest running indie improv show. She can be seen on Mondays performing with improv house team Lovers. She performs with the Unauthorized! company, most recently playing Ouiser in in the movie parody musical Steel Petunias.
ALEXANDRA SONG (Comstock) is a writer, actor, improviser, and comedian in New York. Alex is a house team member at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where she improvises with Big Time on Lloyd Night and writes sketch for Roanoke on Maude Night. PAT SWEARINGEN (Krawk) is a featured performer at The Peoples Improv Theater. He’s currently in his 4th season on the improv roster with the team Divo and can also be seen in the Unauthorized: The Musical series as Doc Brown in “That ’80’s Time Travel Movie” and Caesar in “The Hungry Hungry Games”- original full length musicals based on popular movies. He learned an original bird language for “Volcano Town”. And ain’t no one ever takin’ that away.
JOHN ZACHARY TOWNSEND (Dr. Wallace Purview) is a writer and a performer living in New York City. JZT has been a writer at the UCB Theatre for the Maude teams Lover and Moriarty. He co-wrote and performed in Standards & Practices: A Show About Modern Romance with Ellena Chmielewski, a sketch show/play which ran at the UCB and is now an upcoming short film. JZT co-wrote Annie Hall 2 and Annie Hall 3, two unsolicited spec screenplay sequels to Annie Hall with Mitchell Stephen Fesh; they are currently writing Weird Computer, their first original feature film. He graduated from NYU with a degree in Film & Television.
MAGGIE WIDDOES (James McLamore) is a Los Angeles born comedian, writer and performer now based in New York City. When not performing in gorgeous basements and on garbage stages, she can be seen rooting for her heart and soul, number 1 passion, your Los Angeles Clippers. JACOB WILSON (Durk Custard) is a New York City based actor, writer, and comedian. His sketch team, Faster Human, has been featured online by Funny or Die, Huffington Post, and other regional websites. He regularly performs stand-up and improv comedy Across America. He is over the moon to be a cast member in Volcano Town. He is also an attorney doing non-profit advocacy but is looking forward to abandoning this work after landing his first fast food commercial.
