“This world does not deserve Forever Dog.” – Kevin Laibson, Artistic Director, The PIT NYC
Forever Dog Productions is an independent comedy company known for the ambition, scope, and quality of its projects. The essence of every Forever Dog endeavor is collaboration–bringing together driven and passionate artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to create original comedic experiences for audiences. Forever Dog believes that this strong collaborative environment is the key ingredient in producing our unique brand of big, loud, theatrical comedy.
Since its founding in 2012, Forever Dog has produced numerous shows that have bridged the worlds of comedy, art, music, and theater. In 2015 alone, Forever Dog produced over 40 original live shows, including our 12-hour, 50 character, 600 page-long play, Volcano Town. In March 2016, we launched the Forever Dog Podcast Network showcasing some of the best comedic talent on the web. In true Forever Dog fashion, these unique podcasts cover a wide range of styles, from sketch comedy to music criticism to high-concept performance pieces.
Forever Dog’s work has been featured at the Chicago Fringe Festival, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, the Philadelphia LiveArts Festival, the New York City Sketch Comedy Festival, the Dallas Comedy Festival, the LIC One Act Play Festival, the Montreal Sketch Festival, the Secret Theater (NYC), the Peoples Improv Theater (NYC), the Morbid Anatomy Museum (NYC), the Red Room Theater (NYC), and the Ruskin Group Theater (LA).
